Building and executing a successful program is challenging. Expert guidance and support can enhance projects and drive meaningful results.

Peer Recovery & Support Services

At Recovery Now, we understand that developing and implementing effective recovery programs can be challenging. With the right expertise and support, we can help you strengthen your initiatives and achieve your program goals.

Peer Recovery Specialist & Recovery Coaching

Are you integrating Peer Recovery Specialists into your programs? We can assist.

Peer support is a strengths-based approach designed for individuals struggling with addiction or in recovery from substance use, codependency, or other addictive behaviors. Peer Recovery Specialists work alongside individuals at various stages—whether actively using or seeking long-term recovery.

Through lived experience and peer-to-peer guidance, our specialists help individuals:

Navigate their personal recovery journey

Reduce or stop substance use

Connect with harm reduction resources, detox programs, treatment centers, family support, and community groups

Build a sustainable recovery plan

Peer Recovery Specialists do not diagnose conditions or provide primary addiction treatment. Instead, they encourage positive change, helping individuals reintegrate into daily life, avoid relapse, and work toward personal goals like career advancement, relationships, and education. Recovery coaching is action-oriented, emphasizing the present and future rather than the past.

Law Enforcement Assisted Addiction Recovery & Referral Program

Our Law Enforcement Assisted Addiction and Recovery Referral programs support individuals in crisis by:

  • Encouraging those struggling with substance use to seek recovery
  • Providing access to life-saving overdose reversal medications
  • Connecting individuals battling opioid and heroin addiction with treatment facilities

This initiative fosters collaboration between law enforcement, healthcare providers, and recovery specialists to provide effective, compassionate support.

Recovery Residences (Sober Living Homes)

Recovery Residences offer a safe, structured, and substance-free living environment for individuals committed to recovery. While every recovery residence operates differently, they share a common purpose:

  • Promoting long-term, abstinence-based recovery
  • Providing peer-to-peer support in a communal setting
  • Helping individuals develop the skills and stability needed for independent living

Each residence enforces policies regarding relapse prevention, medication use, and house rules to create a supportive, recovery-focused environment.

Recovery Community Centers (RCCs)

Recovery Community Centers serve as central hubs for education, support, and social connection. These centers validate that recovery is possible and provide:

  • Peer-driven and peer-delivered recovery support services
  • Educational workshops, skills training, and wellness programs
  • Social events and community-building activities

RCCs do not replace clinical treatment or 12-step programs but enhance recovery by removing barriers and fostering a sense of belonging.

Peer Support Groups

Peer support groups—also known as self-help groups—offer a space for individuals to share experiences, offer mutual support, and gain insights from others facing similar challenges. Key characteristics of our support groups include:

  • Facilitated by experienced professionals or trained volunteers
  • Small group sizes for meaningful discussions
  • Open to anyone seeking support, with some groups available for specific needs (e.g., court-ordered attendance)

Collegiate Recovery Programs (CRPs) & Collegiate Recovery Communities (CRCs)

For students in recovery, maintaining sobriety while pursuing higher education can be challenging. Our Collegiate Recovery Programs (CRPs) provide a recovery-friendly campus environment with resources like:

• On-campus sober housing

• Peer support meetings

• Academic and emotional support

The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) fosters a supportive, social network for students in recovery, ensuring they can fully engage in their education while prioritizing their health and well-being.

Recovery High Schools

Recovery high schools are dedicated institutions for students in recovery from substance use disorder or co-occurring conditions like anxiety or ADHD. These schools aim to:

  • Support academic success while reinforcing sobriety
  • Provide counseling and recovery support tailored to students’ needs
  • Educate and empower families to support their child’s recovery

By integrating both education and recovery support, these schools help students build a strong foundation for their future.

Hospital-Based Opioid Overdose Recovery Programs

Our Opioid Overdose Recovery Program (OORP) provides critical, immediate support to individuals who have survived an overdose. Through the assistance of Recovery Coaches and Patient Navigators, we offer:

  • Non-clinical guidance and emotional support
  • Direct referrals to treatment and recovery programs
  • Long-term follow-up to ensure continued progress

Our recovery specialists are accessible and on-call during peak hours to provide timely assistance when it’s needed most.
